Hello Everyone!

I’m not a big reality show fan, but when there’s someone out there being a godly example to the world in that context, I like to support them.

There’s this web-based reality show called “The Next Internet Millionaire.” A young Christian man is trying to win it and so far, he’s been an fine witness for Christ. Not only that, but he has noble intentions for winning this prize- he’d like to allow his wife to stay at home and raise their family, rather than work outside the home. Not an easy feat here in New Jersey.

We know his wife and her family from a church we used to attend. They’re good folks.

I’m on a weekly email list from a lady who updates some information about my local and state politicians. I asked if I could include them on my web site, and she’s graciously allowed it. They can be found on the Member Home page if you have a New Jersey zip code. Please look them over and include them in your prayers.

Sorry, it’s only for New Jersey folks.

I added a couple new things this week to the site:

1. Testimonials

On the Home Page, there’s a little random testimonial that displays at the bottom. If you’d like to give me a brief testimonial about your experience with BibleMemory.us (hopefully positive), drop me an email: robert@BibleMemory.us.

I’ll put your testimonial in the rotation- with just your first name and last initial.

2. Current Members

In the upper left of the Home Page and the Member Home Page there’s a display of the current number of members. This number represents the number of emails that were sent out and RSS feeds that were reset that day.

It doesn’t keep a running total of new sign-ups from the current day. I’ll do this eventually, but this is nice for now.

I’d love to see that number double in the next couple weeks. How about mentioning us to a friend at church this Sunday?

Tim Challies of www.challies.com has relaunched his web site, “Discerning Reader,” which focuses on Christian book reviews.  The site looks great.  Check it out!

Tim is a friend of the BibleMemory.us program- to him I owe a great deal of gratitude.

I enjoy his blog, especially when he blogs about Canada, that peculiar country to the north.

Congratulations to the eBible.com team- they’ve just added a new Bible version to their arsenal of existing Bible versions: the NIV.
This site is a force to be reckoned with.  I love it, I really like the team there, and I think that good things are in their future.

Georgene at Georgene’s Xanga Site asked me about the full list of Jonathan Edwards’ Resolutions. I set up a permanent link for it here.

Speaking of Georgene, she has another blog called “A Woman that Fears The Lord”. There’s an interesting counter at the bottom of it that calculates the number of people who have died worldwide since you arrived at the site. And, it points out, that the majority have plunged into hell. It’s a very sobering thing to see- I recommend that you check it out.

Problems receiving emails?

I’ve had troubles recently getting emails through to MSN and Hotmail accounts.

If you have one of these providers, please check into allowing robert@BibleMemory.us as a sender. Or if you have a different email address or would like to try RSS delivery, let me know!

Wow, what an exciting weekend it was for me! I was monitoring new signups all weekend and we had 124 new members sign up since Friday!

On Monday, I checked my stats and we sent out 142 emails and 14 RSS entries. This is awesome.
